DAY 01: TRANSFER IN QUITO

Our guide will meet you at the airport to welcome you and take to your hotel for check in.

DAY 02: EQUATORIAL MONUMENT / CITY TOUR QUITO & MICROBREW EXPERIENCE

Our day will start in the middle of the world, where we will learn about French Geodesic mission and Ecuadorian culture. Time to enjoy and be in the unique place where you can stand in two hemispheres at the same time. After that we will go to Quito colonial center to admire the remarkable architecture of the old town.

In the last years some craft beer stores, have appeared in the city. Today our Quito city tour will be little different, we will visit the main monuments and churches of our colonial Quito but will have the opportunity to taste some class of craft beers and discover the flavors of Ecuador in its mircrobrew movement at tasting rooms. A spectacular gourmet lunch, with a brewery selections will be served.

DAY 03 QUITO /GUAYAQUIL

Morning at leisure. In the afternoon, we will take you to the airport to take a flight of 45 minutes to , we will go to hotel for the check in and immediately , we will drive to the downtown of Guayaquil and visit the turn of the century neighborhood of Las Peñas, You will pass the bustling riverfront and the Rotonda with a view to the Guayas river. Continue through one of the most important avenues in Guayaquil , the 9th of October Avenue to see Centenario Park , the largest Plaza in the city. Here the Great Central Monument topped by an L and surrounded by the founders of the country. Continue to Bolivar Park, the oldest and most famous park in Guayaquil. The Newest site to visit is the MALECON 200 and has been done in a completely modern style.  At the end we will have a fun time on board Captain Morgan`s pirate ship, where you can have some drinks at your own with music while you can have a view of the malecon 2000.

DAY 04- GUAYAQUIL – SALINAS

After breakfast , we will drive to one of the best beach cities in Ecuador, Salinas, in the day we will visit the Chocolatera a spectacular site from where you can have a great seaview of the Peninsula, time to be in the beach and do some water sports activities if available at the time.

We will have lunch in the local market of Salinas where delicious sea food is cooked.

DAY 05 : SALINAS- MONTAÑITA

After breakfast we will drive to Montañita, in the road we will visit some towns and will go to Pro Pueblo Foundation an interesting place to see, handcrafts in natural materials as Tagua seed, well know as vegetable Ivory. Toquilla & Sapan straw, etc

Lunch and check in.

Visit Montanita for leisure, pictures & fun. This is a unique town of South America where the cultures of different countries find the perfect place to share and development in a peaceful atmosphere that remind us of   times of the hippies of peace & love. Montanita is famous to find good waves for surfers. Aquatic activities are available such as body board & ocean kayak, or if you prefer to practice Canopy at the hills or just hang out.

At sunset, back to your hotel for dinner, at night your guide can take you if you’d like to enjoy the bohemian of the town of Montanita.

DAY 06: LOS FRAILES

Visit to a Tropical rain forest at Olon hill, this will be a pre-breakfast activity, breakfast at your hotel. Visit Los Frailes, according to National Geographic Magazine, this is the most beautiful Ecuadorian Coastal beach. Los Frailes is part of Machalilla National Park; you will enjoy the trekking on the dry forest hills that will leave you breathless.   Another option is Snorkeling in the crystalline water.

A Picnic lunch will help you recover your energies. Upon return to your hotel we will stop at the “Swiss Benito Pincay Bakery”, where you can enjoy a delicious dessert.

DAY 07: ISLA DE LA PLATA

Breakfast at your hotel, after that an hour s ride to Puerto Lopez to board the yacht that will take you to “Isla de la Plata”. During the navigation you will be able to observe the Humpback whales (from the middle of June through October) As soon you disembark your Naturalist Guide will give you a short briefing and three hours trekking will be the best way to discover the flora and fauna of this island that is very well known as the small Galapagos, due the three types of boobies, frigate bird, albatross & tropical birds that will delight you.

Snorkeling will be a great experience in some of the reefs of the island. Box lunch will be served on board.

Return to Puerto Lopez, drive back to your hotel.

DAY 08: MONTAÑITA / GUAYAQUIL

After breakfast we will start our trip back to Guayaquil and in the afternoon take the flight to Quito

DAY 09: TRANSFER OUT QUITO

Our guide will take you to the airport for your international flight
