DAY 01: TRANSFER IN QUITO
Our guide will meet you at the airport to welcome you and take to your hotel for check in.
DAY 02: COOKING CLASS
Set out into the heart of Quito to learn about Andean food. Our tour will start with the visit of a local market having the opportunity to share the local culture and its everyday activity. Our experience continue when our professional chef will teach about the products and their combinations while a cooking class runs and you are immersed in the cooking procedure.
After the energy during our cooking class, you will enjoy and taste the food you have prepared.
In the afternoon we will have a walking through well preserved Colonial downtown.. We invite you to walk and visit the marvelous this city has, You will never get tired of exploring the gold-gilded La Compañia de Jesus Church and the neo-gothic Basilica del Voto Nacional. On the heart of the downtown we will admire the Independence Square, the Presidential Palace, the Metropolitan Cathedral , the Archbishop’s Palace, the Municipal Building. Continue to the church and monastery of San Francisco (1535), which is the oldest church in Ecuador. Besides you will go back in centuries visiting the oldest colonial street of Quito “ LA RONDA” where a typic drink called “ canelazo” will be tasted.

DAY 03: OTAVALO – ZULETA
After breakfast, we will drive to Otavalo, our first stop will be in Cayambe to taste the famous and delicious “bizcochos “. We will continue to Otavalo to visit this Indian market, the most famous indigenous market and the largest in South America. Arrive just in time to bargain for beautiful and colorful tapestries, native paintings, hand-knitted wool sweaters, wood carvings, silver jewelry, woolen and straw hats.
After a delicious lunch in one of the local haciendas, we will continue to Hacienda Zuleta. In this marvelous place we will do some activities such as to visit the Cheese Factory, this will be a tour in its Cheese Museum to learn how 14 types of fresh, semi-aged, and aged cheese are done. Each variety is handmade with local milk by local people with the unique Zuleta spirit!

DAY 04: ZULETA- COTACACHI
After a healthy breakfast , we will be able to enjoy the activities and facilities that Hacienda counts, we will choose the route we want the most and explore them through idyllic pastures, aromatic woods, and winding mountain trails, where soaring condors and Andean bears make their home and volcanoes rise on every . We will visit the Condor Huasi foundation and when we back we will have an outdoor lunch with delicious natural ingredients . The menu offered is chargrilled food – succulent meat, fresh vegetables and warm. After this experience we will continue our journey to Cotacachi, a famous town for its products made by leather.

DAY 05: COTACACHI- QUITO
After breakfast we will go to Cuicocha lake where a marvelous Andean landscape view is waiting for us. Continue to Peguche to observe how the local Indean people do their textiles and go to an Hacienda to enjoy a personalized and familiar lunched. In the afternoon we will have time to visit a flower plantation to admire and see the beauty of the best flowers of the world.
Return to Quito

DAY 06: PAPALLACTA
Papallacta ,very well known for its curative hot springs. This village is at 3.700m in the midst of an evergreen Páramo landscape. We will visit Termas de Papallacta SPA & RESORT, a perfect place to experience a variety of different hydro- massages using either water jets or air bubbles. The SPA’s hydrotherapy area consists of five hot thermal pools and one cold pool.
Hiking in natural paths can be done easily . A delicious meal of trout which is the specialty dish of this area will be served at the restaurant. After this relaxing day we will come back to your hotel in Quito.

DAY 07: TRANSFER OUT QUITO
Our guide will pick you up from lobby to take to International airport
